Inspired by German characteristics and architecture, this loft's design concept draws references from half-timbered style and minimalism, with additional influences from industrial design; we created a contemporary reinterpretation using steel beams and wooden slats on the mezzanine, and metal beams with glass on the large windows. Aligned with this concept, we embrace three design macro-trends: multifunctional space, minimalist design, and biophilic design; we designed an integrated space on the ground floor to provide openness, facilitate daily activities, and enhance natural light. Three sliding doors were installed in the laundry area to create a "division," keeping the space more organized. We chose to reduce the number of decorative elements, prioritizing larger pieces with a greater aesthetic impact. Additionally, the slats incorporated into the carpentry help decorate the space without the need for many elements, contributing to a cleaner visual.
